What do the stoplights mean?
Financial Engines’ retirement analysis is displayed using three easy to follow stoplights:
A green light indicates you’re rolling along in fine shape—keep up the good work!
A yellow light indicates caution—there may be some issues that need attention.
A red light indicates that something is out of balance and you need to make changes to get back on track
Financial Engines generates a retirement analysis for you based on this information:
- your Allianz Asset Accumulation Plan Account
- your Allianz pension account (if any)
- your age, salary, savings level, and investment choices
What do I do if I have a yellow or red stoplight?
A yellow or red stoplight generally means that Financial Engines projects that you may not have sufficient savings to retire when you want, based on the information we have for you. It is important that you take action right away to improve your retirement outlook with the following:
- Your retirement analysis may not include other retirement (and spousal) savings outside of Allianz’s retirement programs. Be sure to add all outside retirement accounts for a complete retirement analysis.
- Customize Your Profile:
- Modify your retirement age (65 is the default retirement age)
- Change your investment risk level
- Determine your annual retirement income (80% of your current salary is the default retirement income.)
