FINANCIAL ENGINES HIRES DEBBI BEHRMAN AS VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 29, 2007 – Financial Engines, Inc., a leading provider of independent investment advice and managed accounts to 401(k) plans, today announced that it has hired Debbi Behrman as vice president of human resources. In her new role, Behrman is responsible for the team that manages Financial Engines staffing, compensation, benefits and employee relations.

Financial Engines introduced its managed accounts program to the market in September 2004, reaching the $10 billion AUM milestone in just over two years. Prior to joining Financial Engines, Behrman held a variety of senior roles in human resources and services at leading technology companies. Most recently, she served as Senior Director, Employee Success & Customer Education Services at Neoforma. Prior to that, she was a principal consultant at Dragonfly Consultants. Other companies where Behrman honed her HR expertise include Blackhog, Inc., Hewlett-Packard, Icarian Inc., and Sun Microsystems.
